Students create Christmas cards for military

Peace Lutheran church member and drama/ art/ school newspaper advisor, Karee Kerr, had her 6th grade students make special Christmas cards for our military care packages. I’m sure our military friends will enjoy each and every card in their box. Thank you, Karee and your students, for this special gift.💕

Peace Lutheran Church sponsors a military care package outreach for deployed military personnel. Currently 16 boxes are sent on the second Monday of each month. The care package group meets at 8:30 am in the Fellowship Hall at Peace on the second Monday to sort, package, pack, and get boxes ready for mailing. Our group is compromised of different churches’ members, friends, neighbors, and local organizations. We welcome everyone to come participate in this outreach for our military heroes. If you know of someone deployed please send the name and address to: Doris at

IMG_1976IMG_1974IMG_1973IMG_1971IMG_1977img_1971 The Iowa Disaster Relief youth made a huge difference in the community.  Not only through their service but through their very noticeable love for the Lord in all aspects of their lives.  They were an inspiration to all who were fortunate to have known them.
